A Gift That Keeps Giving
Thank you for your interest in supporting Habitat for Humanity of Green County. Your generosity will help us finance the initial construction cost of a safe, affordable home that a local, low-income family may purchase through a zero interest, no profit mortgage. Because of your support, every mortgage payment Habitat receives is recycled back into our operating budget to finance the construction of more Habitat homes.
When you make a donation to Habitat of Humanity of Green County, your money will support programming and not arbitrary overhead costs. We are governed by an all volunteer board and our only paid employee is our part time store manager. We pledge to be good stewards of all funds received using sound financial management, ensuring that a vast majority of our annual income goes directly to supporting our home building and home repair projects.
No matter what level of support you consider, we have opportunities for you or your group to become a sustaining financial partner at all levels of giving.

Habitat for Humanity of Green County has been working in partnership with low-income families since 1991, providing them with the opportunity to lift themselves into a higher standard of living. Since then, we've seen how our mission has touched hundreds of lives and grown larger than any one individual. We're honored to have had the sustained support of donors and volunteers in our community. With your help, we can continue to be a leader in affordable housing initiatives.

Land
Habitat for Humanity also needs your help with other alternative gifts. Land is our most difficult hurdle to increasing our building potential. If you are interested in donating a building lot, or have one for sale at a very reasonable price in Green County, we would love to talk to you!
